Welcome to Debra Jackson’s website for EMAT6680. I am taking this course in order to convert my non-renewable Georgia teaching certificate to a renewable Georgia teaching certificate. I am a career changer and taught Math 1 at Flowery Branch High School in Hall County in the 2011-2012 school year. I look forward to returning there next year where I am scheduled to teach the new Georgia Common Core freshman math Coordinate Algebra and senior Math IV. Even though the commute from Lawrenceville to Athens every day this summer can be challenging, I am enjoying my two classes and making new friends.
